So, after three days of vomiting, it was time to take Brutus to the vet. He had a physical, blood work done, and X-rays taken...what a night. After some mild sedation, Dr. Brent went over the fact that Brutus is diabetes free, shows no blockage, and is mildly dehydrated. His kidney and liver are functioning fine. Diagnosis seems to be a developed allergy to his food or maybe a little bug.

Feel better, my kitty. And please don't murder me while I sleep as punishment for two hours of vet-time.

So, I came home last night to one vomit blob. Woke up to two vomit blobs. And came home tonight for a whopping three vomit blobs. I'm not only frustrated, but actually concerned too...I fed him about half of his normal meal size tonight to see if he would keep it down. Hope he starts feeling better soon!

PS, he loves doing homework with me.

Miracle: I was gone from my house for nearly 6 hours and there away still food left in the eggs-ercizer!! Yay for life style changes, Brutus!!

Please excuse me for having some issues with consistent publishing. The blogger app sometimes decides it wants nothing to do with me or Brutus, so it refuses to post. Brutus is pretty offended by it, honestly.

In December, Brutus weighed in at 24.6 lbs (24 lbs, 10 oz). Today, he got the scales down to 23.8 lbs (23 lbs, 15oz)! I'm so happy, I might even forgive him for crapping in the kitty carrier while driving to the vet's office.
